Hi, So this is my first model. What do you think, is it good enough for a first model. If you have some advice for me how to improve my skills please tell me. oh also I wanted to try what Major A Payne advised me, but my sfc copie is dead.

very good start, but now you've got the basic shape I would suggest refining the mesh and shaping it.

Well I refined the torpedo bay, the nacelles and the saucer. Well do you think that I should refine them more or are they good enough and I should focus now only on the nacelleholders (or whatever they're called).

Certainly getting there. I would suggest seeing if you can find some reference material (images), if you want as accurate a version as possible. I wouldn't worry to much about poly counts unless your hardware is pretty old.

Very good for a first try. Just needs some small refinements, and good to go.

I think that it is finally ready. I hope you guys like it. Too bad that I've to wait till I can buy paint shop pro to do the textures. Thanks for all of the advice.

An evaluation version should suit your needs for now. Just make sure it handles TrueVision Targa files.
