I am retooling my Fed fleet, and looking for a new advanced destroyer. Two options: I need something sleek and darker in tone, that looks like it comes from a progression of the Defiant lineage. Anyone know a ship like this?

well the closet thing i can think of is in bi vital responses i think there's something called the wasp class? it's defiant-ish :o not sure if it was in vital responses, it's in one of the borg incursion mods though :o

k_merse did wonders bringing another ship called the Valiant class starship to A2. It's not the same as the one you linked to (which, to my eye, looks like some cartoonish steroid enhanced uber-Defiant) but a far sleeker and more lethal design. Other options would be the Courageous and/or Scorpion class starships. We included all three of these ships in the Starbase 34 Federation Compilation Mod. They're long-time future favourites of mine.
