i am working on a new mod for star trek armada 2. it will change the building tree. i am working on the federation first. some of the tech tree goes like this: Outpost processing plant shipyard ship Reseach station Reseach weapon Reseach -------------- Starbase Advanced processing plant Advanced shipyard Advanced ship Reseach Advanced station Reseach Advanced weapon Reseach -------------- Special Starbase Special shipyard Special ship Reseach Special station Reseach Special weapon Reseach Edit: Another goul is to us the star trek The Magazines i have to modify all ship to as close to cannon as posible. if any one has any tips or ideas let me know. If they are origional SOD files from the game, then open them up in ms3d. If other modders created them, you need to get the origional ms3d, 3ds, etc file from them, as you cant edit a user created SOD.
My armada 2 game is missing the outer ring texture for the Pulse turret. (Fturret). I made 2 build buttons and in game they apper as white, can any one help me, i can not seem to find the problum.

they are un-compressed TGA's Edit: It is fixed thanks Edit: 9/2/2006 things have been going good with the prosses of the federation. monday my computers motheroard whent out so i moved my mod to my backup computer to work on the mod still but i am having trouble using the game to test it i keep getting a incres swapfile size error. does anyne know what is going on the computers swapfile is already 2000 MB?

May I make the suggestion of you doing monthly updates? Say the first of every Month? Or the 1st Saturday or every Month or something? Looking at it like that, when you make your update, you'll have much more to report on, it'll look more professional, and people will take more of an interest. :)
Starting Next week I will start fall potato harvest so i will be very busy so work on the mod will be paused, When harvest is over work will continue. Edit: ok, I am back i will begin work on the mod soon.
