I am nearly complete with my first mod, however, I was having problems with my wire frame. I made some changes to the wire frame and then applied the 1.1 patch and now the build button (which was fine before the patch) and the wire frame are not visible. The button is there and I can build my ship, its just an invisible button and wire frame. What do I need to do?

I'm pretty sure that the patch wrote over your gui_global.spr file, if you have a backup of it copy over the new entries, if not you're going to have to re-add them from scratch >.

Ha brain fart. I didn't even think of that. As soon as I test it out I hope to release it on armada2files. I will post a confirmation here if/when I do.

Thank you both.

Make sure you get permisions all lined up. Some people might be difficult to contact if not impossible but you still have to do the leg work and make the effort before something can be released to the public.

My mod is my own creation. I used a stock ship to make it. I have no interest in using others work to pass as my own. If I still need to get though some red tape then who do I contact?

Since it is all yours, there is no 'red tape' involved at all. Just follow the directions in the Upload section and you're all set to send it in. The directions about what a mod should include are very complete. Could you tell us a little about your mod, please? I am always interested in other people's mods and the ideas behind them, especially when it is a mod by someone who has not sent in stuff before. I hope you have better luck with yours than I've had with some of mine. Welcome to the Show!

I just got done submitting it. I am now just awaiting approval from the Armada file staff. It is called the Solstice class. It is a cross between the Galaxy and Bonaventure classes. I looked up about 20 or so star names for the ship names. If I knew how to submit a photo here I would.

I've just sent you instructions on how to place pics inside a post via Private Message (PM for short). It is the method I use and it works pretty well. I am glad to help.

Thank you for your help. Here is the ship. I will add an ingame immage later. How do you do the spoiler tag?
