Ok, so I started making a new starship (from scratch), but I have a newish problem (although I'm sure I saw it, but I can't find the thread). I need to make textures for it, but don't really now how to make aztec patterns (textures?).

Heres a preview, its sort of a TOS constellation class. The texture is currently from Terradynes Surya, for reference.

Have you tried Texture Tutorial by Wrath of Achilles on a2files. that should help you make textures for your ship. by the way, ship looks good.

I used the Achillies tutorial as a basis. I added a bit of detail on this version. Hmmm, the red might need to be brightened some.

A good start but I would suggest making the saucer more smoother in roundness unless your going for the hexagonal look.

This is coming along quite nicely. I look forward to seeing the final result. Keep up the fine work and do not let anything or anyone dissuade you from finishing. Sometimes, perseverance is the best talent a modder can use.
