Now that I have my Premonition Class, it is now crashing the game after its done being built, and I don't know why. I've now given it the same phasers and torpedoes of my Sovereign - class X Refit which doesn't crash the game. I have the weapons installed that were crashing the game with my other ships for their now not crashing the game with those weapons back in active service. What can be the problem now? Will anyone check any of this out? Oh wait, I know no one respects me here but they want respect, I don't see a good reason for that when almosty everyone here blames me for the mistakes that I'm having when its obviously the mods creators. AKA: I know that there is no such weapon called: "gselfdes2". I've gotten odf files like that, didn't even change them and my game crashes, in other words, that problem is caused by the person who creates the mod for after I fix that problem, my game doesn't crash. Now though my Premonition class is still crashing the game. All required files are there but that ship is still crashing the game. I know I'm good at modding odf files for what I create out of stock material ships and stations doesn't (and I mean doesn't) crash the game and I've done many changes by making doubles of some stock files. Also the newer versions of the stock shipyards, stations and some ships that I've created out of stock material don't even show up here as files that can be downloaded. I can proved that I've encountered modder mistakes from files that I've downloaded, but that's not the issue, at least when I can fix some of those problems... a few at least that I know will cause a problem. I do like the work of Pepperman, there's a ship by the Starfleet Kid that I like, HMS Frontier and there are a few others but I'm not going to make that list yet.

You're only losing respect with posts like this. You know, respect can be gained by helping other people, or releasing good stuff. You neither helped anyone, nor released anything yet, you seemed to be new in modding, but you want to be respected as a skilled modder with an incredible portfolio. First: Please give respect to the others if you want respect for yourself! Second: Maybe your "mods" weren't credited properly. Without proper credits no mod will be released on the site. Third: Noone have the time to help you in 24/7. You may need to wait a few days until someone can help you. Everyone can wait. Fourth: A good modders first criterion is that he solves most of the problems hi found alone. Fifth: The ship ODF looks fine, I bet that the problem is with the special weapons, and if the game crashes when the shpi appears, it must be with the typing of the weapon name. Try to make commented the weapons and decomment them one by one to find out which one has the problem.

Sorry, most of the time I don't post if I don't know the answer.

I did look your stuff over days ago and couldn't find anything wrong... sorry for not giving my findings.

You are correct all modders make mistakes at some point. That's why there are patches. Even the creators of the games make mistakes.

Something else that is very overlooked is Mods run different on different computers. One of my own mods on my computer ran different when I changed the motherboard out years ago.(Keep in mind I DID NOT change any files in the mod, nor transfer anything).

Thank you for agreeing about all modders sometimes make mistakes, I don't know why some people don't want to admit that, its not like everyone is perfect, because we all aren't perfect. The mods I created I clearly stated it was modified stock material and they still weren't released, I edited a few files to the Romulans that came with the game trying to make them actually able to stand up to the Borg and the Federation for once I've completed the Federation side and the Borg Side, the Romulans get defeated way to fast, I had to counteract that because I can't find any supream dreadnought for them or the Klingons. The Borg have the Central Unicomplex and the Command Cube , & the Ultimate Borg Turret, as for the Federation has the Intrepid Look Alike Omega Class starship. As for the ship's special weapons, their spelling match the spelling of the ones that I commented them out on since the game was crashing before I got the Premonition Class, and now those ships aren't crashing the gam, but the Premonition is for some reason, that for sure cancled out the problem being with the special weapons. I thought it was the weapons first, when that failed I posted it here, I know to check the weapons and special weapons first.

it is also possible that the ODF refers to a hardpoint whichdoesn't exist. It also could cause crash.

How can I find out what and where each hardpoints are located without a HP maps for certain ships, including stock ones? I have the Galaxy-class Deflector Beam set on my Galaxy-class ships and it crashed right after being built in Instant Action, I commented that weapon out and then it didn't crash anymore. How do I find where the hardpoints (HP's) are located?

Everyone makes mistakes. But what I know about modders is that each one has got his own specialty. I can not make any models but I can create and/or modify textures, interfaces and some special weapons. Sometimes I can create new phasers and torpedoes. All of them are not sent to the site. There are a lot of modders and I consider I'm not a priority as I'm a guy among the others.
