Tain_Enabran;4409188.drl and .dsl files are like .dll files : they seem to be opened by a C++ editor. You must have some C++ language knowledge. I cannot use that myself because it's too difficult for me. One good advice is to change map configuration as it was suggested before by Ragnar and Freyr.

that is true, however, c++ knowledge won't be enough. you need to know assembly language to understand these files. even then, editing isn't much worth there as with editing you are very limited in compiled files. the best way would be to understand how these two files work and then program a new set from scratch. that is far from easy... in armada 2 they had a quite open interface via dll exports in armada.exe where the mission dlls could interface easily with. i am not sure if that would be enough to create new mission dlls, however if i find out that it is, i will integrate this interface in the patch project so that the average programmer with knowledge of languages that can create win32 binaries can write mission dlls.
