i dwnloaded the ori ship on a2 files a number of months ago and with the recent release of stargate ships i installed it, but after using it realised the weapon was incredibly weak for what it should be (able to tear through a hatak in a second) i had a look at the odf and with some help increased the weapon power and ordered the ship to ignore shields and target the hull. however this made no difference with the weapon and it still takes around 5 seconds to just destroy a hatak, which isnt particularly canon would someone be able to create an odf file for me where the ori weapon is able to destroy a hatak in a second, and deadalus class ships with 2 or 3 shots i do not know why it didnt work when i put weapon power to maximum but it is quite annoying as the ori ship should be my most powerful ship yet it is easily challenged by a wraith hive or 12 hatak any help would be greatly appreciated ^_^

Just increase the amount of damage the weapon does to a value greater than the Hatak's shields+hull (or twice the shield strength on most ships).

If the beam lasts too long, just change the lifespan = 1.0 or less than that if you desire. I believe lifespan belongs in the ordinance file for the weapon.

Try adding this line in the weapon's odf, though i think its used for something different than this: ignoreShield = 1

Ignoring shields will only prevent the shield sprite from appearing. Other than this, it still affects and damages shields normally.
