i believe it's a spiret file, so in theory you should be able to make it very faint or replace texture file, or delete the line.

Whilst I can see the benefits of them being *gone* (much alike half the threads), it would end up being quite difficult within fleets. You will end up forgetting what you've got selected, or you wont be able to see what you've got selected. I'd change it though, somehow.. Don't know what yet though, but yea (as it has already been stated) it would be in the sprites. No doubt there are some textures you may have to edit too.

I once suggested to Achilles that he should do something like a comet that wizzed around the ship when it was selected. Others have done a trans-porter effect, so there are plenty of options. As for the arrow on the far left, no idea what that is pointing at.

Hmm... I could have sworn that I posted in this thread, but oh well. I believe I said before that you can replace the selection item with a blank sod or make a custom selection brackets.

You probably did post in this thread, but i had to repost it due to a problem on the forums. Ill try replacing the selection item with a blank sod, to see what happens. Thanks Guys:-D Edit: Thanks Alot Draconis It worked. I replaced select.sod with a blank sod and it got rid of both the problems. Thanks:):):) Heres a pic of it gone Gone.jpg

[off-topic]What are those two smaller ships escorting the Warbird?[/off-topic] Yes, the small mods usually make the game a bit more enjoyable to play by quite a bit. :)
