how can I see all the texture and not just the lightmaps like pictured on the joined picture:uhm:? I use MS ver.1.8.1b

Hey, how ya doin? If thats what I think it is, then its a very common thing:) simply click the materials tab on the top left or right (depenting on which side youve set it to) of the screen - its next to the model, groups and joints tabs, there should be a box that you can check called spheremap, check this then un-check it, and BOOM! . . . the texture should be there (i dont know why this happens):) Alternately, on the tool bar at the top of screen go to tools / assimisoft lightmap flip tool - this should have the same affect - making your texture visible. - note that this also seperates the texture into three parts - the .tga, the alpha channel (this should have a suffix i - eg texture_i.bmp) and another .bmp containing the color data. i think the above is correct anyway? good luck!:)

sorry for the lack of precisions, but the only second solution work , but I can't use BMP in armadaII and the first dont work:uhm: If I use the assimisoft lightmap flip tool to see the texture when I make my ship , and after the I re-use the assimisoft lightmap flip tool to put the bmp's in one TGA , it is possible? and can I use them to see the light and the texture ingame, or inthe game ,the ship will appear like on the picture? sorry for my bad english
Hello: Yes, if you press the Assimsoft Lightmap Flip tool again, it will give you your tga back, I know because I've used that to get some SFC units into my personal mod :D
Yep, ditto what he said:) the tool can be used to separate the texture and to re combine them -easy peasy:) And dont worry about the english - you get the point across well enough;)
