Does anyone know if you can have latinum as a resource for building ship?
//Dilithium Cost to build dilithiumCost = 600
//Metal Cost to build metalCost = 50
//Latinum Cost to build latinumCost = 100
Hello: I think it is possible, I also think I saw that in a ship before. Just add: latinumCost = xx as you posted and that should be enough. I hope your mod works Cheers!
As do I as in the 23rd century Latinum wasn't used. :D
Hello: Lol. Well, 8472 doesn't use latinum either, they transform it into biomass. But you got me interested in what ship you'll add latinum to their build costs ;)
I just tested it and it works.
Hello: I'm glad to hear (read) that. :cool: You were right to suppose right to add Latinum because they are needed to research pods for the Romulans, Klingons and Cardassians :nodding:
Yesteryears is going to use a different setup (resources) compared to other mods and the stock game. ;)
There is going to be a min of three resources required to build a ship/station, maybe 4, not 100% sure yet. :p
Hello: Well, Fo uses Tritanium, so you maybe can make a new resource mineable from anothe type of moons (dilithium and the new one from moons) and metal from planets. If Greathor releases his color guide fr glows, it would be easy (or not toooo hard) to make moonswith another glows for any new resource.
I already know what they are going to be named, just want to keep them a surprise. Tritanium was used to after 2364 for starships hulls.
Hello: Well, I don't want you to spoil the stuff of your mod, as I don't want to spoil things from my mod. But I try to keep the surprise until the release of your mod, I know you may come up with something cool. P.S.: I really like your fed ship to the left of the Constitution :)
