Hello everyone,

You are all probably wondering why Im posting a new thread rather then continuing the ROTE thread from Before. This is the bring new life to my mod, and Im hoping this 'little' ship does that. Awhile back I found an extremely high poly mesh that I was debating on making a lower poly version for ROTE, but after coming home sich yesterday from work, I decided whats thew worse that could happen? So I made the Seeker Class Escort Ship/Destroyer, now I cant get ahold of the Original Creator due to his site being offline and his email not working either, but Credit will go to him for the original model. Now here is a comparison of the original to my model. Mine weighs in at 1662 polies. tell me what you all think.

I think you have done an excellent job remaking this. It stands at a nice poly count too. Will you be using the texture's from the old model on your new one? I am also curious as to where you found this and what the original model's poly count was?

I still think you have just gone and bent a defiant, lol

But it is an alright looking model, it seems to look a little chunky, but them that is probably just me. I think it will be easily to make a judgement once there are some textures for it.

EO, The thing looks very close to the original. Good job. You might want to try remaking the U.S.S. Quadrant (Defiant Variant) a go next. http://www.scifi-meshes.com/forums/3d-wips/16950-u-s-s-quadrant-wip-defiant-variant.html

Personally, I don't like it. Seems a little too... tacky? Looks like a fish or something too, I'd stick with the Defiant ;)

Hello: Well, in my opinion, I like EO's model very much, it really looks like a future replacement for the Defiant:) , maybe it has even more internal space for marines and some more torps. :nodding:

Snazzy, though it looks like the successor to the Defiant, you know a replacement. But like others said it's really hard to give accurate feedback without seeing the low poly one textured.
