I've been trying to get a model into storm3d, so all I've added in terms of hardpoints are the scene root and mesh nodes, but for some reason the second I drag the model into storm3d the program crashes, anyone have any idea how to fix this? Thanks in advance for any replies.

well that's odd, as far as I know you dont need any nodes, pretty much the only storm3D crash I saw (and this was A1) was for a none existing node.

This a fresh Armada install and all that?

Right an update, I've just tried re-exporting the model, and now it doesn't crash storm3d, but no model shows up, it says there's 1 object being displayed but it says there are 0 triangles. Here's a pic of what I get when I drag the .sod file into storm3d: Any thoughts?

Well, the only time I've ever encountered this, it was with the lights on some of the stock models. Simply delete the "h_lights" node on your model, and it should show up. You can re-add it afterwards without this problem appearing.

Dan, if you are using Milkshape and have the nonstock importer then try deleting the entire hierarchy, export it as SOD, check it in Storm and if it work reimport it back into Milkshape. Milkshape will write the back hierarchy.

You don't have to delete the entire hierarchy, only the "h_lights" node. It's happened to me before.

I've already solved it using peppermans solution, besides if you read my original post you'll see that I only added the scene root and mesh nodes, there was no lights node to delete.
