Did you add it to the station? Are you sure there isn't just an invisible build butto? Are you using the right Tech file? Just tossing ideas around.

yes it is in the bild lise of the station (ODF) there is no gap inside the button for what the station can build. if by the right tech file you mean tech 1, then yes i did do that, i even added it to the full tech list. i know that there is some thing that i missed, i just dont know what it is. do i need to add what race builds this ship?

Try posting your Tech and Station ODFs for the others to have a crack at it, I'm going to bed, and I'll look back in the morning.

thanks for trying Dave-Mastor from the starbase (fed) buildItem4 = "Zfreight" this was all i added. tech 1 i added this. Zfreight.odf 2 fbase.odf ftrading.odf // Feringi miner under the fed ships and the full tech was this. Zfreight.odf 0 i know there is some thing missing but i dont know what it is

true but i want this ship to be built by every race that has a trad station, kind of like a merc unit or some thing.

Well at least try specifying a name of the race. You may have to edit every races shipyard ODF for this, if you already haven't.

lol of all the things .... ya thats what it was, i needed to tell the game what race could build it. now .... would i have to make one for each race to build or could i just put each race down in the list of who can build it?

Erm, I honestly don't know about multi-race building ships lol Not sure if it can be done, without multiple ODF's. Sorry I'm no help here
