im having some trouble with the in-game probe. the button doesnt even appear. i know this is proly a simple fix, but im relatively new to special weapons modding. revised scout .odf below

Post a copy of the probe odf and check that your buildbutton is correctly spelled in your gui_global file under special weapons buttons. You may also have to add it to your Dynamic_Localized_Strings file.

I got the button to show up but I get no discernable change. Fire sound works but no sprite and no scan radius, like it was never fired.

I think it's [squarebracket]SPOILER[squarebracket] with a [squarebracket]/SPOILER[squarebracket] after the fact.

Maybe you can edit the post so that only the special weapons section of your gui_global is visible. Please never do that again. :lol:

I can't seem to find a reference to the classLabel = "probetorpedo" that you used other than in FO and I believe that they added it as a special for the mod. Other than that I have no idea. Will look around tho...

haha, i'll try keeping that down next time:P and orion, i copied the files directly from the .zip i got them in. i never toughed the class label, so that must be in there somewhere... i'll continue my search as well
