Hi! I've moded the torpedoes so as they count like special weapons and I was wondering that if there is any way I could add 2 or more such weapons on different hardpoints(like the defiant, sovereign, neghvar and many other ships with 2 or more visible launchers) and make them all fire (at the same time if possible). Now I see there's only one weapon firing and I'd like to know if is there any way I can make all fire.

As far as I know you have to make a duplcete of the torpidoe and give it a diffrent name like a 2 at the end then use that as the secound torpidoe or it will just fire the one

Yeah! Cool! I was wondering if we can make an artillery weapon (tricobalt torpedoes for instance) that is a special weapon or how to make an artillery special weapon?

I suggest basing it on the ion storm the Negh Var has, my original work with special artillery worked perfectly in A1 but not in A2.

Ive experimented with this myself. My current mod makes all weapons use special energy and the only difference between whether they fire automatically or require a button pressing is if you (a) define a button, (b) define: special = 1, and lastly its a good idea to keep your special weapon odfs in the special_weapons folder... but i havent seen any problems with doing otherwise. Of course, if you set your ships AI to automatically use special weapons then buttons or not they will use them.

As Achilles suggests, copy an existing weapon that is similar and modify it (make sure you give it a unique name).
