Firstly the website for Apocalypse is http://www.freewebs.com/sta2a Also i need a few things to complete the MOD - it is near completion. These things i have listed below with an explanation:- I need a breen shipyard - something different - like breen ships there do not look the same each side (unlike other ships they are not symetrical) i need a breen shipyard for the breen battleship. Romulan ship - i need a small one of these - a small one to build the scout and science vessel of the romulan fleet so a shipyard that would fit the size of a shrike class from the stock models. Klingons: i need two shipyards (one of which MajorAPayne has as a mesh just not converted - so if someone could please mail him about it) the other one i may use from operative - they are not working yet though so we will see - if worst comes to worst i need a shipyard that would fit in with the creation of the Bird of Preys Also - weapons and AI - Ai and weapons i haven't even approched yet - i have done the odf files for the weapons but have not got the .tga files to match up with them - also the AIP's - i have no AI! if someone could PLEASE help me. The attachments included are the .jpg versions of the .tga files - there all the same layout - just differernt textures / colors etc.
Well, if those are actual in game screen shots, and it looks like they are. Then it will be some peice of work when it's done. (Clearly some artistic talent) :eek:
Thanks - yea, they are in-game shots. about the weapons (this goes out to anyone) the .jpg files i have above are the .tga files in the textures folder - how do i put them into the game! i know it has something to do with weapon.srp and odf files - i have made the odf files just am not sure about the sprites. could someone else me out?
Ok, in the whatever_o.odf file, it'll say
Change the something into what you want
Then in /sprites/weapon.spr, go to the bottom and add
@reference=256 (for this type in the size of the file. If it's 128, replace the following (0 0 256 64) with (0 0 128 32). @tmaterial=additive (you add these two just to be on the safe side)
[color=red]something[/color] texturename 0 0 256 64 @anim=tex1x4
(in texturename, don't put the .tga suffix on it)
The red bits have to match.

erm... thanks for the tip! (what to do) but i still don't have it working - either you have it wrong above or i've messed this up (i'm going for me messing it up)
Hmm. Well, erm, email me the files (the phaser odf, it's ordnance file, the photon odf, it's ordnance file, and sprites/weapon.spr

yea crashing. i applied the odf weapon name to a ship and when you select it in map editor it crashes... i'll zip it up and send it to you in a bit. thx 4 the help! :)
