This is my first post on the forums, so bear with me ;) I was referred here by Greathor before he was deployed (hopefully he should be back soon)
Anyway, I have been building a few star wars ships but am having some problems with mapping textures to it. I have a very large detailed orthos of the ship that I am using as my texture, but lack the skill to map it to my model. Is there anyone who would be able to do this?
The ship mention is of course the iconic Imperial Star Destroyer. It was the first SW ship I made, others will be made aware of once this one is complete.

Good shape except for the rear of the bridge support. Its indented depth isn't so much.
Looking good, though from those picks looks like you need to snap some verts, and weld some faces correct to remove the black smuge that are on some of the faces like the engines etc.
Nice Mark II. There are difference between the Mark 1 and Mark 2 such as the top of the command tower... also the engines have different details as they are 2 different models of engine from the Mark 1 to the Mark 2 the Command Tower you've done is that of a Mark 2. Don't forget about the large dome on the belly of the ISD, aft of the launch bays. so far, TERRIFIC!
She seems to be shaping up quite well. Sure, she's still missing some details, but Its a really good start.
