How do you make a phaser able to fire when cloaked? I think you have to use the cloakEnable command, but in what file? (weapon/ordinance)

I believe its the ordinance, but to make sure, cause I believe I'm only 70% right (although its only 2 files so explain that one :P) check one of the cloak weapon odf's to see, then place that line in the relevant odf for the phaser. The Ai enemy however will most likely be able to lock on to you, unless its human versus human in which case they will have to do manual fire.

According to the gromspy.odf (kind of poitnless to say what it is) i have to put it in the weapon file, so I've done with that. I haven't checked it however, i first need to get several other things working.

I just found out that it doesn't works, so i changed the code to the ordinance file, but it still doesn't works; the ship always decloaks to fire. (It's a modified Draconarius)

Only certain classes of weapons can use that. The standard phasers and disruptors cannot, but I believe that areacannons and areamissiles can. It may be a different class, but it might not... who knows.

In theory, give the ability for only one weapon to fire whilst cloaked, like in St: VI...now that would be kewl :)

Maybe I'll do a special weapon.

The 'Stalker' is a hero ship you get at the start, it's something i'll do with all sides.

Very very complicated, you need a cloak enhancer, like on the Veles.
