ok i was wondering how the sod accesses textures? like how does fbattle.sod know how to accsess the appropriate textures? this would really help me if i knew. Thanks in advance
If you use a hex editor to open a SOD file you'll be able to see the names of the TGA texture files written in that SOD file. The SOD refers to the TGA and so it goes. One can change the texture by skillfully editing the SOD file to use another TGA file and hence a different skin, as it were.
