When you select a trading station or recycler you have the oppertunity to trade or transmute the three main game resources.

What i want to know is if the amount of each resource traded can be modifed. For example, if you sell 100 dilithium you currently get 70 latinum, if I wanted to make it so that you could instead get 500 latinum (for example), how would I do this?

I have tried to find the appropiate code myself in the commands odfs and the RTS_CFG.h file but I could easily have missed the apporpiate line of code, can anyone help with this, it is kinda fundimental to much larger modding thing I am attempting, if I can't mod this, then what I want to do (which i am unwilling to divulge yet) will become much more difficult. If keeping this secret stops anyone telling me this information then I will explain exactly what I intend to do to the person that provides me with a way of making this small modification to the buying and selling of resources.

I looked and looked, and all I can say is I believe it's a classlable issue, therefore probably unsolvable. However, I found some success with the Borg recycler station. Try using these commands: recycler = 1 // How much metal you get for dilithium and vice versa recycleExchangeRate = .7 (this one being a percentage) If you were to use the recycler's settings for all trade stations, you might get close to what you want. There may be issues with the Ferengi traders, though. Good luck.

Arh, well if there are issues with Cargo ships then i can't do it that way :( (I expect there would be with the recycler.) As to put those lines in would proably break the classlable rules and to use the recycler classlable would stop trade ships. Well there is an alternative way of doing what I am attempting to do by simpally making the gather rate of the resource very high and increase other costs of it. Cause it will be an awkard process trading a little bit by little bit but still, no mod is perfect.

I believe there are issues with the class labels. I am still working through Sporanis Version 2, where I want biomatter and latinum as the resources and be able to trade them. (Seperating latinum completely as I know Species 8472 can use it for conversion) I tried the transmuter option but it didn't work so I'll be interested if anyone can find a way through the class label issues too!

I know one trade thing you can change and that is the ammount of revenue cargo ships make from the stuff the transport.
