transparent mesh/sod ? , how do you make one for a2 as i have tried for 2 hours but failed :bawl:

make a point/joint (depending on if youre using max or MS3D) called c_tm_translucent and then export. that should do it.

set as a child of the mesh. also I use the c_tm_additive, slightly different opacity.

Hang on here. Could you make a mesh then turn it transparent, so there is an outline, but all you see is the backgorund behind it? No particular reason, but it could be cool if one day (if this were possible) someone made up a race that had completely invisible ships, literally.

i have made the .sod and now i am trying to make the shield hit anim red all the time without much luck :( , i have even tried elrond's blue shield mod but that did not work for me
