im trying to make a variant of elronds borg cloaking nebula that has transparent textures but i cant seem to find where the textures are located. i checked the sod and the odf's. i opened the sod with milkshape. does anyone have any idea on how i can do this? thank you in advance for all your help with this. plus i will give whoever answers my question the final copy of the bsg full race well before i release it

The nebulae are sprites, not models. Check the nebula.spr file.
well i should have know that. how do i make sprites for a nebula?
Its not that simple. You will need a new sod and MS3D cant make these kind becaust there are no polies in them. Maybe you can rig something up but I don't have all my programes moved to the new pc yet so can't try anything. Well, you could actually use MS3D if you are tricky...just make a really small box in the center of the nebula and then use the heirarchy to place the nodes. Apply a black texture to the box and it won't be noticeable.
