I have designed the USS Hood from the new Star Trek film. I also made the Kelvin. I need to get some textures done.

First the Hood.

those look pretty good. When you get them completed can you provide ones for the Starfleet Command III community?

I am uncertain as to how to make SFCIII files. I will however upload the meshes there for an experienced modder to take the next steps.

impressive. For textures your best place is BC. The kelvin on there has some wickedly detailed textures and should be perfect for your needs.

Agreed those are some very nice texture and should work well on these ships provided you can get permissions.

Quite some good meshes there, and they look quite smooth too (not so much your hexagon shaped saucer). How'd you know that particular ship is the Hood though? It may be one of the other ones, as to date, I don't believe we've been officially told. ;)

I don't know for certain but, with Amateur doing a mesh of the three nacelled ship indicating it as the Farragut, I logically deduced this one could be the Hood as it was also mentioned in the movie. ;)

Then I took my cue from here: Paragon Cardmodels - Star Trek

I'll let you have that one. ;) I wonder if these ships are bigger than the Enterprise though..? =p All things considered, the XI Enterprise is actually larger than a Sovereign, so...

Well actually it has been confirmed as having the name USS Hood on the ships hull. As the Farragut has been as well. While the creators haven't officially confirmed it, it is still open to discussion and debate but I will personally be going with whay the SciFiFan and Amateur have already done along with modellers on SciFi Meshes.
