vanguard-side-big-small.jpgHas anyone made the "Vanguard" station yet Starbase 47 Watchtower Class Sector support and control station as a point of reference those two baubles hanging down are big enough to hold a constitution class. :dpistols: :tank:

That's a nice station. I prefer stations as trading stations/mining because the spacedocks are listed as being space ports indicating activity with ships zooming around. Although I don't think you have have it as trading station and base. Needs a few more nice towers on the top though to create a city feel.

There's few station designs I dislike, but this certainly is in there. Dunno why, just not likeable. Think the design is a little bland and the deflector at the bottom is stupid.

Does anyone here but me actually know what a Vangaurd is?

(No I do NOT mean the station itself, I mean, does anyone else know what it's NAME means.)

Vanguard: expeditionary force One of GB's battleships in WW2 was named "Vanguard".

Paulhanselluk, don't you agree that your station would fit with my Lancaster and Belleau Wood classes? I could give the station a try, if you want.

yeah thats a possibility, the ships in the book that are mentioned, (ie assigned to the station) are a "Archer" Class Scout, a Deadalus Class, a Constitution Class, and a Miranda Class (assuming its a TOS varient).
