Hey all you modding fans. Is there a line of code that will allow your ship to automatically fire its special weapon in single player? The opposing fleet that is. I know that the Cardassian Kulinor will fire its Quantum Singularity Effect weapon on its own, but I dont see any lines of code to support that in the ODF. Any takers?

look at these in rts_cfg.h

float EASY_SPECIAL_WEAPON_FIRE_MODIFIER = 20.0; float DEFAULT_SPECIAL_WEAPON_FIRE_MODIFIER = 0.50; float HARD_SPECIAL_WEAPON_FIRE_MODIFIER = 0.05;

The lower the number the more likely the AI is to use its special weapons. If you change them all to 0.05 or lower then the AI near always uses its specials.

The AI also has to have the required tech, so remember to build it in the AIP.
