Hi all

I have been recently adding alot of ships to my A2 installation and seem to have hit a problem in that no more ships will appear in the build button list of the shipyards and no more stations will appear in the build button list of the construction ship.

I know there is supposed to be a limit of 11(0-12) on the construction ships but is there a limit for the shipyards. At present I have 8 on the advanced shipyard. 13 on the standard shipyard. 4 on the standard fed starbase (I cant add any ships to this either)

I am adding all the entries in .tt files, gui_global, etc as I always have but it doesn't seem to be working at all! Any clues people?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Made sure all the entries are correct and present and properly added to building lists? Sods and textures all there? Sorry, can't think of much else.

If you are are stuck why not add more ship yards, thus you can add more ships, the only catch is you will have more yards to build. heres how to do it = 1)copy "fyard.odf" and rename to "fyard2" 2)copy "fyard.SOD" and rename to "fyard2" 3)edit your build list for "fyard2.odf" so it now has the ships you want in it. (it would be a good idea to change the stations names as well...) 4)copy "fyard2.odf" into odf/stations. 5)copy "fyard2.SOD into the SOD file. 6)add "fyard2.odf" to a construction ship. 7)edit your tech1 and techtree files adding the new station etc etc. This will also work with construction ships, so if one is full add a 2nd one to your build list. Any questions just email me, id be glad to help.

It would be best to call it fyard3.odf as there is already an fyard2.odf and instead of copying the sod and editing the gui_global file you can put this line in the odf so it uses a sod with a different name to that of the odf. baseName = "fyard"

Well,, I have 7 ships in yard1, 12 in yard 2, 6 in yard 3, 10 in yard 4, 12 in yard 5, 9 in yard 6, 7 in yard 7, 11 in DS9 and 10 in base and I never had any problem with ships not showing in shipyards...
