I have no idea how to fix this. I am making a weapon for a goauld hatak vessel. I have made the image in photoshop, on a transparent backround, and saved it as a targa file. But when I play it in the game, the image is on a while box... Any chance someone could help me with this.

Usually when you save something as a TGA with a transparent background it will fill in the transparent parts with white or black... re-check the TGA to see if this is the case. If it's white, change it to black and it should work fine...

Don't use transparency as you background with targas for A2. Black is substituted for transparency in the game.

I don't think I need so say what your problem was again :)

If your after Stargate weapon effects I did a pack months ago for the Stargate ships that were released, but somebody needs to write the ODF's.

If anybody wants to use them then permission is granted for any use or alteration providing the original source (I.E. me!) is mentioned if released.

WOW lol im guessing that the blue is either for the wraith or the asgard? Still that goauld one blows mine out of the water. I might just use that for it. And then if you don't mind, just seperate the goauld large weapon file and write the odf and put it up. i would give you full credit.

Yeah, it was intended to be an Asgard pulse. Its the old style one though, the new one as seen end of S9 looks different. (and I need some Ori weapons now...)

I will probably have a go at those at some stage.

Anyway, feel free to make whatever changes you want.

When I first posted this someone posted a load of info that might mean something to you:- (I am only a texture artist really, I don't mod so this means very little to me)

This what I did with the odf, make a copy of fbpulse rename it inside it change the sprite to your texture file change the weapon on the ship to match the file you just made in sprites, weapons, add this: # Asgard Pulse phaser weapon wfilename 0 86 128 32 # 303 rail Pulse phaser weapon wfilename 0 64 128 32 # 302 rail Pulse phaser weapon wfilename 0 32 128 32 # Goa'uld Pulse phaser weapon wfilename 0 0 128 32

Change filename to the texture name, change weapon to odf file name. That should work
