Hey guys, in my time away I have been working on some programming and am currently working on Star Trek style internet browser that uses many buttons etc seen in a2. Now this is more a learning experience then anything so it will be very basic. Im currently wondering how to do the back and foward buttons etc. Anyways, Im calling it Web Trekker and it will be free for downloading for the a2 community. But dont expect anything great as I am just now beginning to get used Visual Basic. So, comments are welcome:).

Sounds like a nice "idea". But I'd have thought this would be best suited in either the Tech Forum, or the Graphics Department... I'll leave it be for now, see what you think. A Suggestion though, by using the Armada II Buttons and such, this would probably only be benificial to those that play Armada & Armada II. - If your thoughts are to release it to a wider community, you may wish to change that idea. Also, Visual Basic is just that. It's the Basics of programming and suchlike. I'd urge you to highten your surroundings and maybe get C+ or C++. Good Luck anyhow.

in VB all you need to do is use an ActiveX command to call IE and then stick some pretty buttons on and work out a way to do bookmarks etc. (I did the same thing your doing a couple of years ago, before Firefox came out :) )
