I recently tried making my own wf's and when I try to use them on my ships, it shows the individual parts instead of the entire ship What would cause this and how do I fix it, or is there someone that would be willing to help me make wireframes for the ships that I'm using for my personal mod.

The procedure in the Big Book on Modding is pretty straight forward.

The wireframe is divided in 5 squares. Each square has its own coordinate on the texture. The problem seems to be on the wf coordinates in the gui_global.SPR file. You should verify if your 5 wireframe lines have the correct coordinates according to squares position on the texture file.

It's a 512x512 wf with 170x170 squares(size is to negate the blur effect in MSPB)

MSPB = ? Which graphics program are you using and does it have the capability to alpha channels?

alpha chanelling in psp is incredibly easy, highlight the parts you want lit then go to layers/new mask layer/show selected... done just save the alpha channel and save the tga.

MSPB = Microsoft Paint stock Windows photo editor...I don't have PSP or I would use it. How do I do the alpha channels with either GIMP or Paint.net?

you go to layers, then duplicate the background layer. you'll get a layer that says background copy (or something to the effect). now, just delete the original background to avoid confusion. now if you erase anything on the new single layer image, it will be transparent instead of white. this should suit your needs for wireframe making :)
