Hey everyone, I have a question for you all: If I where say, oh I don't know, working on a Year of Fire demo, which of the following ideas would be more appealing?

Release concept 1: all races present, but only on certain maps, lacking any stations, with the player picking a team corresponding with a race. In essence, scenarios to show how combat works in Yof. Release concept 2: 2 full races present. Probably Muffins and Gigantans. Obviously, this means you would be able to use the unique techtrees and build orders of those 2, but it means leaving the other 2 out. Release concept 3: 4 limited races present. Ie, half of the units and buildings for each race. This one is most problematic since each ship has a very specific purpose. Game play actually falls apart if units are removed.

Also, as far as an update, This is approximately how complete the mod is: -Muffins: All of the ships done, and balanced. Most of the stations done and still awaiting fine tuning. Techtree is done, Still needs Gui, build buttons (for most things) and some other things. Overall: 80% done

-Foods: All of the ships done and balanced, some stations done, but mostly balanced. Techtree is mostly done, Needs Gui and build buttons. Some voiceovers ingame, some done but not in game. overall: 70% done -Gigantans: All ships done and balanced, a lot of stations done and balanced. Techtree is done, needs gui/some more build buttons. Some voiceovers ingame, some done but not ingame. Overall: 70% done

-League: Most ships done and balanced, few stations ingame, techtree not yet implemented, few voiceovers ready, still needs gui/build buttons. Overall: 40% done

And lastly, here is a new league (cats) gunboat. This ship has almost no hit points, but is hevily armed. it is essentially a suicide ship, with few ever surviving combat, but usually able to get the job done.plane.jpg

Concept 1. The idea of testing out gameplay is important, so I'd want that.

If you think it is some kind of joke, you should see the Gigantans releasing a bio plague into a civillian population, the Muffins using universe-altering weapons of mass destruction, the Foods enacting genocide, etc :P

Their wings articulate. Honestly though, as far as their biology goes, their ability to grasp objects is one of the more slightest miracles. There is a sub breed of their primate form... which... contained fissionabe materials, and could convulse its muscles in a way which compressed the radiological elemets, causing a nuclear fission. They're a good example of how evoloution can produce some wierd stuff.

A.k.a your imagination :p No holding back, your models and textures just, well they're utterly stunning, some of the best work I have EVER seen, not just Armada. I dunno how you do it! The ships look creative and cool...awww man, I CANNOT wait to get this into A1, really cannot.
