Hey guys. Just joined FF forums here, and pleasure to meet you all. I've been having trouble installing my game these past few months. Now that I finally got it working I wanted to mod it. I downloaded bunch of ships including the Galaxy X, the Nova Class, and the Prometheus. After I unziped them, I put all the nessasary files into their correct folders. When I went in to play the game, it only showed the Prometheus starship and not the Galaxy X, or the Nova. I'm not a computer expert, but I followed the Read Me's and every step and yet it still doesn't work. I would appreciate any ideas on how to fix this problem. Thank you, and have a good day.

Did you add it to the shipyards? fyard2 or fyard, etc.

Is there a separate folder for that or is in in the file when you unzip?

You probably upzipped the nova class, then the galaxy x (or the other way around), and then the prom. Because all three files have different filesets (.spr and .tt files), they overwrote eachother, and since the prom is the last one you unzipped, you only see the prom because its file overwrote the nova/galaxy's, which in turn overwrote the original version, that came with the game. You have to edit the files yourself, not just unzip em to the regular folder. If you don't know how to edit file, check Westworld's big book of modding, found at armada2files.com (use the search function, or the tutorial section on the left hand side.)

Search for BBOM on a2files. The file's that you'll have to update are the techtrees, and the fyard2.odf
