I have no ideea why this happens, all my ships have admiral's log pics but every time I play with or against the cardies and I access the admiral's log, the game crashes. Does anyone of you guys know why?

Are you using Mods? (Mainly a Cardies's Mod)

I'm using my personal mod but so far I haven't had this problem

Does it crash to the desktop? Or does it just lock up? Is there an error message displayed? It may be a missing comma somewhere. Probably somewhere in one of the Cardie ODFs. If it displays the "out of memory" error message, there is a missing quotation mark somewhere. Again, I'd check the Cardie ODFs first, since everything else seems to work. I just finished adding registries to my Romulan shipnames (Thank you, k_merse!) and had a similar problem. Went back to the stock ODFs and had no problems. It was then a matter of finding the right one one at time by re-introducing the modded ODFs until I recreated the problem. Aggravatingly time consuming to solve but worth it. I hope this helps.

(added by Edit) P.S. Just thought of something else. Check that the name of the Ships Images are exact matches for the ODF and SOD files. They may be case sensitive. I am unsure.

it crashes to desktop, the ODFs have no problem because the game is working perfectly, I think the problem is with the ship images. I'll have to check it out.

I don't think case sensitivity would be the issue, otherwise I would have a lot more crashes. My game is a huge hodgepodge of random mods that has swelled to over 3GB in size, and yet it only rarely crashes (generally when I'm testing my mods).
