That file was submitted by you. I remember the e-mail address from other files you've sent in. Yet, you make it out that it is a different person (who has used your e-mail address) and sent in that file... And, if this 'other person' is sending in a map pack, how do you know if no comments or readme file saying so are about? *Curious*

Ah.

Ok, as the author requested that file has been deleted. (I suppose this is what you were actually going to mention last night Joel :D)

I did speak to the author last night and I have the two new map packs. An absolutely massive 2000+ mappack which, having been around A2's gaming community for years I can state is the largest map pack ever released for A2 and a lite version of that map pack.

Of course you do pay for that, its over a hundred megabytes in a ZIP file. :)

The Author did specificly request that I put the file up under the "A2 online community" author, as a public service I am going to drop the file into a installation file with LZMA compression both to reduce the filesize as much as possible and to make it easier for people to install and use.

[edit]OOPS! I was AFK for half an hour after finishing typing, I hit post to find Ash had replied. Anyway, there was a comment on there before I deleted it from the author saying basicially what curtis just said.[/edit]

It must have taken him/her a while.

The largest one out till now was my one, which was 617 maps and that took me a couple of years. Of course, now I don't play anywhere near as much as I used to because I have less free time, which is spread across many more things.

Easy, im not worried. :p

Of course your not, because YOUR NOT UPLOADING IT! :D

(for those that are reading but don't get it, if your download speed is like 8MB you probably have a UPLOAD speed of less than 200KB. 20MB files might only take a couple of minutes to download, but you can still be uploading after half an hour on a bad day, which it will always be when your doing large files and this is just a tad bigger than 20MB...)
