I have just installed and reinstalled ST:A2 but everytime I go to the proper single player mission1 one it freezes up when the ship is displayed. I believe it is a problem with the ATI radeon graphics card (think its a 9000 / or 9200) as I get a similar problem when playing homeworld 2. This was resolved by having a switch to turn off part of the graphics I am still experimenting. Would installing a more up to date driver help or is there a switch to chnage the way the game is run?

There should be an options menu available to you to lower the graphics level on your game. As far as drivers, it's never a bad idea to update your drivers for your graphics cards.

I'm not sure, to be honest. Best I can tell you is to go to the respective FileFront site, here. If you still can't find an answer, contact Joelteon7- he should be able to help you out a bit more than I can.
