Sorry, but I can't for the life of me figure out where hull repair rates are designated, or the command for it. I know about these: enginesRepairTime = 1.0f lifeSupportRepairTime = 0.1f weaponsRepairTime = 2.0f shieldGeneratorRepairTime = 2.0f sensorsRepairTime = 3.0f And this: shieldRate = 10 But what governs hull repair?

If there isn't a specific amount in that odf, it'll be in the "included" odf mentioned at the top. Most classes have a designated speed and base hull etc. but some ships have variances on these. Anyhow, healthRate = ?? will do what you want when added. There are other specific lins such as shield protection (ie, crew and systems don't get dmaaged until ALL shields are down) etc. Hope that helps ya.

I could be wrong, but isn't healthrate for 8472?

healthRate = xx Hmm, I'll check that out. Thanks, Joel. And to Zero- I did a quick look and couldn't find that command in the 8472 ship.odfs, so I don't know.

EDIT: Awesome... that command works great! I did a file search in the stock armada directory, but nothing came up. Is it one that was included in the game code, that the developers just didn't use?

Also, is there a list of all odf commands? I might have seen mention of one, but can't remember where.

And as to my original question, is the health rate of the hull regulated by the shieldrate, in the absence of the healthRate command?

Glad to be of service there! I believe the SR (Shield Rate) does regulate the HR if there is no HR present, which makes no sense in my books, but there must be a coding somewhere for that, ohwell.

Well, thanks to Joelt, I've figured it out: maxHealth = # is used to regulate hull and shield strength, and: shieldRate = # is used to regulate shield and hull repair/recharge times. Unless these values are present: maxShields = # healthRate = # in which case, you can set the hull and shield strength and repair/recharge times independently. E.G. For the defiant, you could simulate the ablative armor (and weaker shields) with these commands: maxHealth = 200 healthRate = 12 maxShields = 100 shieldRate = 1
