Hey everyone! My problem is with a ship that I added today. I DO have experience adding new ships and stations to Armada 2, and I do know where the data goes in order for them to work. I've put the data for this ship in all the right places, remodified the gui_global sprites, added it to the techtree files, I've checked and rechecked my spelling of the ship in question on everything I inputted, and the game crashed the nanosecond it builds in the shipyard. What does this sound like to you? I would greatly appreciate help with this. Thanks in advance for your time.

It could be a wrong weapon name or a missing quote somewhere. Check at the very bottom of the ODF, as sometimes there are extra lines that are not needed as they are covered by the file mentioned in the "include" part, if you find them delete them and see if that helps. It could also be that the name of the race the ship belongs to is spelled wrong/is one you dont have in your game. Hope this helps. Good luck! :)

I checked the ODF and it's the same as the rbattle ODF, nothing added. This is puzzling. The ship I'm trying to install is the S'Faret class warbird. Have there been any problems with this mod??

What this guy said. I was just going to say the exact same thing (about the hardpoints) as I don't have the ship in my game  Bobby beat me to it. :nodding:

I would greatly appreciate having a copy of the ODF text. I checked it 10 times last night for missing quotes, incorrect hardpoints, misspelled weapons, etc.. and nothing seemed wrong. Thank you all for your help.:bows:

Straxx, have you checked the model? I think the message me and Bobby are trying to get through, is not that there may be a spelling mistake in the .odf file, but that you have have entered a wrong hardpoint. An example: Say the ship has hp01 - hp50, and you enter one of the hardpoints as hp67, that would cause problems. Did you add the hardpoints yourself, did you copy them from another .odf file, or were they like that when they came with the download?
