Right click My computer. Select Properties Click the advanced Tab Under Performance CLick Settings Click Advanced Under virtual memory click change.

I would make it 750-1000 if you have the space

Sometimes this has nothing to do with swap file sizes. Mabye a certain ODF file has either a missing or double quotation mark somewhere, which are usually to do with hardpoints. It happens to me sometimes and I know the cures, always. ;)

Yes Ensign_andrew_of_Borg is right, for the full details see the crashes thread by MaP in the problems and errors thread but basically this error mean that you are missing a " mark somewhere in your odfs. check the last odfs you edited and if something starts with a " mark then it has to end with one. e.g. "hp01 has to be "hp01" or "phaser has to be "phaser" Ive probbably confused you now but i hope you understand.

yeah i figured that, but i couldn't be bothered so i just copyed all the mod files put in there (they where okay , i hadn't edited them) and reinstalled the game, now it works fine.

Also beware that beside the missing " marks, even extra spaces between " marks can cause crashes.
