Hi All! can anybody help me please... Started usin the map editter, and decided to do a 8 player SOL system. system compromises:- 9 Planets (mercury,venus,earth,mars,jupiter,saturn,uranus,neptune and pluto ). 7 asteroid/moons (ceres, charon, quaoar, haulea, makemake, eris and setna). 10 satellites (ganymede, europa, io, callisto, titan, rhea, oberon, titania, triton and the earths moon). 19 dilithium moons (roughly 2 at each start location and 3 round jupiter) 24 latinum nebula's (3 at each start location). 8 radiation nebula's (all near the sun and flanking mercury). and the asteroid belt between mars and jupiter, and more pluto to setna. all good on editting as it all appears on the map wiv start loctions set. but wen i play the map all the satellites dont appear? FILE INFO:- PB_SOL1-9 are the planets. AB_SOL10-16 is the asteroids/d type moons (except AB_SOL13 which is a large resource asteroid). AS_SOL17-26 is the planet satellites. The AB and AS files are identical (copyed the AS from the AB). HOPE MAKES SENSE...

IIRC you have to add the satellites ODF to somewhere else except of the map editor files. I can't exactly remember though. Do you use the stock planets, or did you added your own?

hi k_merse! all sorted, realised i hadnt added the line "forceToNeutral = 1" to the ODF/OTHER/es_solsat.odf file. not sure wat that actually means but wen i added it, all the satellites 'Titan, Rhea and co' all appeared where i had placed them.

Planets can't start on teams so they have to start as neutral map objects.
