This has been annoying me for over a week now and I've no idea whats causing it, for some reason every other time or so (doesn't happen every time) I open A2, the game crashes straight away, the patch project error report shows the name "Super.Side" in the stack dump, but I don't recognise that as a file name and it doesn't show up when I search for it. I've checked everything I could think of but I can't find a cause. I've attached a screenshot of the stack dump below in case anyone can see something in it that I can't. If anyone can help out with this I will be eternally grateful.
Thanks in advance for any replies.
superside is in the tech tree somewhere I think. maybe check deeper into that file.
Nope, no luck on that front I'm afraid.

It was in Armada 1 not in Armada 2 though as it wasn't included.
OK I've just checked a backup copy of my install from 2 months ago and that works, so its obviously something I've done recently thats caused this problem, but I can't think of what it might be, anyone have any ideas?
you're sure you couldn't have accidently put something in the wrong place? that's the only thing I could think of because it shouldn't have a conflict with a2 because there's no reason superside should have anything to do with a2
Is it possible you've added the words 'super side' to a .ODF, sprite, or techtree entry? Or perhaps its presence in a recently-added .SOD is the cause of the problem? I can honestly say I've never seen anything in-game that refers to such a term.

That was it! I found it in an odf file from a mod I downloaded from AFC last week, I changed it and the crashing stopped :) Thank god thats finally sorted, really frustrating crash error that was. Thanks for the help all :)
Just glad to help, old friend.
Well I wasn't any help but happy you got it fixed. ;)
