Alrighty, whenever I play as the Imperials, all the ships are dark colored, and I don't know how to fix it. I tried to reinstall the mod, but no go. The New Republic is normal colored, and so are the Imperials when I play as the Republic. I tried to download the Victory 3 SD, then unistalled it, but that was before I reinstalled the mod. What's going on?
i never had that problem before. i have noticed, however, that when playing on some maps there is little lighting so the darkly colored imperial ships showed up as nearly black. this typically happens on maps i've downloaded as the makers forgot to add lighting. could this be the problem?
That might be the problem, but the starting ISD is black, and ISD's are usually grey/white, with the exception of the Eclipse, but the New Republic ships are all the correct colors.
try playing on a map that came with the game. they all have proper lighting. this should cause the ship's coloring to appear normal. if that's not the problem, i'm not sure what it could be.
what did you think of the VSD3? i put alot of time into balancing that thing and would like to know what you think of it.
I already tried to play on a map that came with the game, no go.
I couldn't play with the VSD3, that was what was causing the problem in the first place. When I got rid of it, the Republic returned to normal, but the Imperials didn't.
odd. very very odd. i never had that problem with the Fleet Command. the VSD3 caused no problems either. perhaps it could be your video card or something of the sort.
Yes, it is odd. It seems that I can't load any mods that aren't in an exe. I think I can fix the problem by reinstalling the game and the mod.

I have come across this odd problem with standard objects in A2. Every once in a while the Klingon research station "blacks out" like that while everything else is fine. I have a complete A2 on my D drive so I can have a stock of standard files to pull from if something on the C drive messes up. I drag over the TGAs and the goofy thing is fine for a long time. I dunno, try that, pulling the files over from desktop just for fun.
