Have you installed of the updates? I'm running Vista as well and never had any problems except with some of my graphics settings, but thats not really vista related.

I play A2 on a Toshiba Laptop with an AMD Turion Processor and Vistas Home Premium. My laptop has an ATI x1200 vidcard with 128MB vidRAM. A2 was the first game I installed and it ran flawlessly. Perhaps if you give us a few more details about the system and which version of Vistas you are running, we could be a little more specific with our help. The only problem I have ever had with Vistas is the thrice cursed UAC(User Authentication Control) This misbegotten, useless, amateurish, my-three-year-nephew-is-a-better-security-system interrupted every single mod I tried to install until I turned it off.

Try going to Run, and typing in this "X://Setup/Setup.exe" where X is the letter of your disk drive.
