I can't open the Techtree because my computer dosen't have the necessary program and I was wandering what prgram that was and where I can find it.
Well to open up the techtree you need to have Notepad or Wordpad which comes with Windows as standard. If you dont have it try :google: to get it.

thats interesting try again i use note pad/word pad works fine for me,right click on tect tt click open with note pad it should change all ur files to a white bx thing with a blue thing in the middle if that dont work them im clueless?!?
Try TextPad. Google that. It's a pretty good little tool.

It's a plain text file. Maybe there is something weird going on with your .tt extension association, or the file is corrupted. I have a hard time believing you can't start notepad and do a "File/Open" on those files.
Right click on your .odf / .tt or .srp file (then go to properties), and you have 'Type of File' and below that, you've got 'Opens With' - Next to that, you have a Button which says 'Change' click that, then find Notepad on that list.
