In Episode 1, Anakin looks about ten and Queen Amidala looks about 18-20-ish. How is it, that in Episode 2 they appear to have the relative same age? Was she frozen in time or technolologically kept young? How does Anakin get so old so quick? Answers please.
The Darkside makes kids hit puberty that much faster.
It's a well known fact.
They used a different actor in episode 2, obviously. Because in episode 2 ten years have passed, so they couldn't use the same actor who played the young one in episode 2. As for padme, they used the same actor, so that's why she looks young.
And very good looking :)
:agreed: mmmm....padme.... :naughty:
where was i? oh yeah, i believe octovon's question is more of a timeline thing, why, after 10 yrs, does padme still look the same as she did, but anakin and change dramatically. in other words, he aged, but she didn't. maby her people age slower then the average human?
Perhaps Padme is the Joan Rivers of the Star Wars Universe?

Anakin was 9, and Padme was about 14. so in episode two he's 19 and she's 24. between 14 and 24 there wouldn't be much of a change in a girl, but a boy would grow up very rapidly.
i think i'll have to watch it again tonite, you may be right, but it seems to me she's older in then that EP1. i would say maby late teens, if that.
