i believe it has a hyperdrive on it. but im not sure. and as far as yoda goes their isnt an official species listed for yoda.
The Death Star does have a hyperdrive I'm not sure how fast of one though. Yoda is officially unknown though some people claim he's a Whill based on the original title for Star Wars "Journal of the Whills(or something to that effect)". :D
I'm not sure about Yoda's race, but if you watch either Episode one or two, and E.T. you'll notice that there is interaction between the two, Since E.T. is part of the Star Wars Universe.
but that would mean we are part of the SW univers, but then we would be in our oun past.........
head explodes
That means Star Trek and Star Wars are part of the same universe. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AAAAAAAAAA.......... Interlooping universes!!!!!
I blame the Writers (let me guess, B5 and Battlestar Galactica are here too...........)
Well there isnt anything wrong with Battlestar Galactica, but yes they are in our universe, traveling to Earth,
....The Last Battlestar Galactica, leads a rag tag fugitive fleet on a lonely quest, a shinning beacon knowns as Earth.....
well just because that et was based on earth doesnt mean that he was from our universe. since star wars is in a galaxy far far away. et would just be from the star was universe since it was never said in et (to my recolection) where et was from.
No really, Lucas and Speilberg have established that ET is from the Star Wars Galaxy. If you watch ET, the kid who is dressed like Yoda, causes ET to go "home" "Home", because he recognizes Yoda. Then Watch all the clips of the Senate, and you'll notice ET's race having their own little POD thing, because they are members of the Republic.
thats exactly my point. meaning that et is not in fact from our galaxy (to put it on a smaller scale) .
