I been playing the KM or the stock Bridge Commander, when I shot the bridge, the ship explodes, well you know I really hate that because, not a single ship exploded when the bridge is destroyed(unless Photon launcher is near or some hazardous part of the ship is near the bridge area) in any of the Star Trek series. Except Archer destroys his ship to create a implosion.
I really want the bridge to be destroy but not the ship, I want the ship to remain that way. It is sort of a canon script.
Does anyone create that or I miss anything? If anyone doesn't I would like someone to do that please? Sort of request.
There's no additional script necessary. Simply open the ships hardpoint with Bcut or MPE, select the bridge property and remove the checkmark from "critical".
keep in mind, the ships will not be "killed" when the bridge is destroyed unless critical is checked, it will continue fighting as if nothing had happened.
