Can anyone tell me why my ship is almost completely obliterated (Nova Class) after I take a slight amount of hull damage? It has happened on several ships I downloaded. Two or three torpedoes hit me and im left with the shuttle bay flying through space, under her own power…

This i a problem that i also have to live With (P81's sov). My problem appears when i use NanoFX (not said that Nano FX causes the problem). my GEUSS would be that there is a problem with the textures

As Nebula said, delete the _vox files in the ship's model folder . . .

But, isn't the vox file overwritten every time the ship loads? I had a similar problem with the excalibur and a custom ship. All I did was change the damage resolution in MPE to a lower value. That worked fine until now..

No the vox nif is only created when there isn't one..... (deleting the old will make a new and better one ment for your comp)
