Hello all, Once again: I'm new to BC and modding BC and have searched the forums with little results. Here's the scoop: I'm running KM1.0 with various other mods, and have the "auto bridge switch" mutator selected (that appearantly came with KM1.0). Basically, I was playing with the transport function in the engineering station and found myself beamed aboard a friendly galaxy class ship (from soverign). I dumped a load in my pants when i saw that the bridge changed from a soverign class bridge to a galaxy class. The accomplishments by modders in this game is unbelieveable at times: there's just so much detail now! Anyways, my question is this: as I am a quickbattle/TMP junkie, i have alot of 3rd party TMP ships in the game, and I noticed that the appropriate bridges havn't been set for each ship like the default ones in the KM1.0 mod. I was wondering where the scripts are/what needs to be edited in order to associate the proper bridge for each ship (eg. excelsior bridge for p81's excelsior class ship, or Ent-A bridge for a connie class ship)? Also, is this Filefront forum the most active forum for general BC modding? Can anyone give any links to some other active BC modding forums? Once again, great thanks and appreciation for all and any help given to this newbie. Once I get on my feet and learn my way around modding this game, you'll bet i'll do my best to add to this very skillful modding community! -cheers!

you should search in the custom folder in the folder scripts..(scripts\custom)
and no this is not the most active one...there are more active ones...links are provided at BridgeCommanderFiles...just scroll down until you find community in the left side :D

The bridge is set in the ships pluginscript (located under "scripts/custom/ships"). Add the following line to the plugin: Foundation.ShipDef.shipname.sBridge = 'bridgename'
Here two examples for the Sovereign and the Prometheus
Foundation.ShipDef.Sovereign.sBridge = 'SovereignBridge' Foundation.ShipDef.MvamPrometheus.sBridge = 'prometheusbridge'
Beautiful! Thanks for all the replies everyone. I'll be checking out those other forums for sure, even just for more databases to search for information. Henze/Mandalore - thanks for the info, it was exactly what i was looking for and those scripts are working like charms. Thanks again all!
