Since the previous BSG pack released had quite a few bugs in it, and they decided to feature a couple of new ships on the show shortly after I released it, i've started work on a V2.0 of the pack. That being said, I am currently still working on the third stargate pack which is keeping me busy, so this pack won't be released until the summer at the earliest but I am working on it whenever I have time.
I've fixed most of the bugs from the V1.0 pack. Damage textures now work on all ships (although because of the size of the Battlestars and Basestar it's best to run it on either low or medium visible damage unless you have a super-amazing graphics card).
I've fixed problems with the Shuttle Launching scripts...there wasn't enough room to recover all vipers on galactica before. I've also added the ability for the Battlestars to launch all 3 different types of raptor and a few shuttles, Galactica can even launch the Blackbird stealth fighter, and the Basestar can now also launch a few Heavy Raiders.
The Astral Queen has been rescaled because it was massively oversized.
A few missing glows have been added to some ships.
Tactical and damage displays for most ships have been done properly (they were overlooked last time).
Greathor has generously allowed me to use his model of the Battlestar Valkyrie to improve on rather than having to make it from scratch...as with the other Battlestars it will be able to launch Vipers, Raptors and shuttles, as well as the Stealth-Star fighter when it's finished.
New ships will include the Valkyrie, Stealth-Star fighter, Cylon Ressurection ship and Cylon support ship (mentioned in 'Pegasus', and seen very briefly in 'Kobol's Last Gleaming Pt2'). Also, since the Mini-series featured a model in Galactica's gift shop of a Cylon Basestar from the first war that looked like the ones from the original series, I might include it as an older Basestar which will be balanced to Galactica (since they are supposed to be from the same era. If I do, I will probably include the older style Raiders too as they were mentioned as well). There may be a few others from the Colonial Fleet that weren't included in the V1.0 pack.
Nukes will be added to the Battlestars (partly because I forgot to add them before, and because a torpedo script will allow Felix to control tactical properly which he couldn't do before).
Smoke trails have been modified...they will now continue to be emitted until a missile hits its target, rather than disappearing half way. They will also disappear a couple of seconds after impact rather than leaving a cloud next to the ships it hits for 5 minutes, which should virtually eliminate any lag caused by them.
Vipers launcehed from Pegasus will now have Pegasus written on the side rather than Galactica (Valkyrie fighters will also have the correct name textured on). There will also be a few other minor texture changes.
I may well try and improve some of the models...some of them look a little low-rez in places.
Hopefully by the time it's done the V2.0 pack will include pretty much all ships featured in the series without all the bugs that were in the V1.0 pack...the only bug I don't know if i'll be able to fix is the bug where neither Battlestar shows up, or they show up without textures. Since I never had that problem, and it is quite possible it was due to low-end graphics cards there may be nothing I can do, but i'll certainly have a go at fixing it.
I'll post updates whenever I have them, but lately i've been very busy so don't expect them too often. Also, please don't ask for a release date, I still have the SG pack to do first.

Great news! Glad you twigged about the Astral Queen!
One or two suggestions:
1) I don't know if there are many available, but a better Galactica model? It's a tad smooth, and the flightpods are misshapen, I know it is CoXXon's model, but it doesn't match up to the rest of his fleet. It'd be nice to see some ribbing (Omniscaper's BTRL Galactica has all it's ribs, and is only 20 Kilopolies!).
2)Some of the ships would really benefit from specular mapping, and the basestars need a really high coefficient for maximum shininess.
3)The way the main engines of the Galactica and the Pegasus burn in the show is quite unique looking, but I stumbled upon a viable in-game facsimile. I was cruising slowly in the Galactica, messing around, and I triggered a plasma leak, just for fun. (see attached screenshots) I'm not suggesting that the Bucket and Beast go around spilling their plasma everywhere, but I've seen the shots of your new Ori ship, with the sprite at the centre, and I figure you could do something similar here. Or, if it were possible to have NanoFX plasma leaks stay still, relative to the ship, as opposed to the origin, then to actually do it with NFX leaks would be really cool. Give it a go yourself - travel slow and leak plasma, you'll see what I mean.
CONOR, the stargate pack is still a priority and will be completed first, the reason i've started this now rather than waiting until the stargate pack's released is that there is far less to do on this and I don't have enough free time at the minute for a project as big as the SG pack.
Bren, I do intend to add more details to the Galactica model...it's one of the ones I intend to improve quite a bit. As for speculars, textures aren't my speciality but i'll ask someone to do some. And as for the engines, for the SG pack lost_jedi did a smoke trails mod that is emitted from impulse engines...it should be possible to change the color and severly limit the length of the trail to make the engines look better, good suggestion.
Thanks to Greathor's model of the Battlestar Valkyrie, i've been able to improve on it and so far it's looking quite good. The model is about half finished so far, and i'll probably try and finish it over the next couple of days.
