I can't get the Model Property Editor to read hardpoint scripts because they are in .pcy format and the editor won't recognize them. Hoe do I get the editor to read them?

There is no legal way, But the SDK contains the orgianl .py's for the game. to change from Pyc to py yo need to decompile the file and it is illegal to decompile a file (thats because of owner ship rights, when some one create a executable file they own the code so you can't reverse enginer the binary you can oly ask the author for a copy of the source and they may give you a copy of partial copy).

if you load the files into MPE using the Open dialog, you can save them back to .py MPE has a built-in decompiler, but just works with hardpoints. to load pyc files you have to type "*.pyc" and hit enter in the text box, above the file type box.

I tried that and it still won't read them.
